Renae Suttie is happiest when she is on stage. Following her jazz studies at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Renae has been performing professionally for
the past 18 years. She has worked the international 5 star hotel circuit extensively in countries such as Japan, China, Hong Kong, Fiji, Kuala Lumpur, New Caledonia, Thailand and Vanuatu.

On the local scene Renae performs regularly for both the corporate and public market as a soloist with groups such as “Renae and The Swing Collective”, “Savvy” and “Sakura”. She is also engaged regularly as a backing vocalist and has supported artists such as Daryl Braithwaite, Ross Wilson, Richard Clapton, John English, Doug Parkinson, John Stevens, Joe Camilleri, Peter Cupples, Wilbur Wilde, Lee Kernaghan, Graeme Connors, John Swan, Sister 2 Sister, Marcia Hines, Ricki Lee, Donny Ray Evans and Elvis To The Max.

Renae often performs at various music festivals, including the Broadbeach Blends of Jazz Festival 2009, Valley Jazz Festival 2009, Brisbane Festival Spiegeltent 2008, Ambiwerra Festival 2009, 2007 and 2006, and the Kangaroo Point Jazz N Blues Festival 2003.

Renae was also awarded the "Jazz Vocalist Award" at the 2007 ABC Valley Jazz Festival and is currently recording an album of jazz originals. With the gift of “perfect pitch”, Renae is sought-after in the recording world and can be heard on many Australian television and radio advertisements, including “Channel 7 – Love You Queensland”, “Channel 7 -The Golden Casket Winners Circle”, "Hey Hey This Queensland", "Donut King", “Seaworld - We Are Family”, “Channel 9 – Shine on 9”, “Sizzler”, “Chandlers”, “Lite n Easy”, “Wallace Bishop”, “Alma Park Zoo”, “Eagle Boys”, “Toyota”, “Sunshine Coast Daily”, “Zone Fresh”, “Healthy Inspirations”, "GJ Gardner Homes", "Choclicious", "Image Blinds", "Sharp ABT", "Redcliffe Smiles Better", "Queensland Firebirds Theme", "The Sleepover Club Theme", "Sianna", "Sandstone", "Devine Communities", "Tackle World"

Internationally, she has sung on the theme song for the “Crocodile Hunter” television show.

Renae has also recently completed a Bachelor of Arts at University of Queensland, with majors in both Music and Japanese. As a vocal coach, Renae speaks regularly at vocal seminars and workshops, including the 2009 Creative Generation State Schools Onstage.
